Bio:

Christian Lee is an Asheville-based comic fresh off the boat from Puerto Rico. They use wordplay to bridge and compare the cultural hijinks. When they're not a comic, they're drawing comics! As an illustrator, they occasionally use visual aids on stage. They taped a mini-special with Four By Three in 2023.

Now, if I may speak frankly:

I moved to the USA from Puerto Rico for the first time in 2018 in Pittsburgh, where I finally got to perform the jokes I’d been writing while interning in college. I graduated a year later and returned to the states in 2020, where the pandemic staggered my performing once more.

I do love wordplay, and bilingual and cultural nonsense; I’m also half Mexican, so you can imagine… but! I do genuinely like to project images or use my large drawing pad for visual jokes. All venue-dependant, but a nice bonus.

I can usually be found hosting and featuring shows around Asheville. See you downtown!
